 SPLM Secretary-General Pa’gan Amum has appealed to the Sudanese masses to rise up and resist negative forces working hard to undermine the process of democratic transformation with the intention of further destabilizing and dragging the Sudan back to war and totalitarianism.
The Secretary-General stated that in a press release issued on 26th June by his office in Khartoum.

 The SPLM Deputy Secretary General for the Southern Sector has expressed gratitude for the excellent relations between the SPLM and GOSS and the people of Uganda, saying Kampala has never failed the SPLM throughout the liberation struggle.
Dr Anne Ittto made the comment during a recent visit to Uganda to attend a workshop organized by the Uganda Chapter of the SPLM’s Women’s League, which was held between June 19th and 20tth under the theme: ‘The Voice of SPLM Women. Uganda Chapter.’

An SPLM committee sent to Abyei to assess the situation in Abyei has described the situation there as painful, disastrous and in need of urgent humanitarian intervention.
The team, sent by the SPLM General Secretariat in Juba, visited 7 villages in Abyei area where they met with SPLM officials, Ngok chiefs and the internally displaced persons (IDP's) who fled the fighting in Abyei town some days ago.
